I am a Libyan American who creates art to promote a positive image of Arab and Islamic culture. I have produce Arabic educational products and craft tutorials on my blog to help children learn more about the Arab world. I am also an art teacher at local schools and a storyteller at local libraries.
The ACraftyArab.com is full of fun and educational tutorials, printables, book lists and other resources to learn more about the Arab world. There are articles for children and adults that explore the MENA region of our planet, also called the Middle East and North Africa. Koloud ‘Kay’ Tarapolsi uses her years as an artists and educational background in art history to produce original content. Be sure to stop by and check out the Crafty Ramadan 30 Day Challenge, on it’s 6th year.
I am a stay at home mother to three children, and I love to read with them and make crafts! I decided to take my passion for reading and writing to the public! I hope that my blog is inspiring to every busy Muslim mom to sit with her kids and spend quality time teaching them Islam, in a fun way, of course. I also hope to publish a children’s book someday!
