Finished teaching the Hajj (Muslim pilgrimage to Makkah) course and I was presented with these beauties. Love my generous sisters in Islam. I can attest to their yumminess ğ Alhamdulillah (praise the Almighty) it's been a gruelling week and I'm relieved it's over. Although I'm going to miss teaching. I've been avoiding painkillers as they impair my ability to think clearly but I just about managed with the pain. It's certainly been… Interesting. My students ranged from the age of seven up until the age of 85+ lol. I had to use four languages (though not at the same time!) but overall I LOVED it! Can't wait for next year. Wish I was going ğ Feeling very thankful that I was able to teach the whole course and didn't let my visual impairment stop me! True, I had my iPad glued to my face because I'm legally blind but everyone understood and that's the main thing ğ they were all really understanding and after a while got used to simply speaking up without raising their hand because I made it clear that I couldn't see them lol. I feel like I can do anything! #feelingempowered #Hajj2015 #Hajj #islam #Alhamdulillah #muslim #cake #cupcakes #fairycakes #strawberry #class #teaching #IBD #ulcerativecolitis #spoonie #visuallyimpaired #blind #keratoconus #gratitude #ostomate #ostomy #delicious #yummy #gift
And finally Aisha Writes has been tempting us with her spread of home cooked food!
